If you could go back in time to give advice to your younger self, what would you say?

This is posted @ Nadia’s FB.

Carpe diem! Seize the everyday! Live like it’s your last – don’t make it as an excuse to squander life.

Know your priorities. Know what you want and work on it. Know why you do what you do and why you believe what you believe.

Be wise. Read more books. Don’t watch TV too much. Take care of your health – for your body is not your own. Attend training and seminars – yes, experience is the best teacher but you don’t have to experience everything for you to learn. Invest on yourself – not on material things.

Don’t follow your heart, you got to lead your heart – for everything you do flows from it. Don’t be afraid. There may be times that you feel down, lonely and everyone is against you but know that ‘You are not alone’ – God never leaves you nor forsake you. When life bring you down stand firm and say ‘Bring it on baby!’ Don’t just go through every mistakes and hardships but grow through it. Act like a victor not a victim. Move on. It may be hard but just fake it and eventually you will make it.

Be humble. You will surely experience failures and victories. Either way, you need to move on to give way of the greater things that are being prepared for you. When you are at the very bottom, don’t give up for there is no other way to go down but go up. When you are at the top, recognize those who have help you to get there. Brace yourself for bigger and greater things are on the way.

Recognize your strengths and weaknesses and do something about it. Appreciate corrections and suggestions. Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger.

Make time for your family – success in any other areas cannot compensate the failure at home.

Make friends. Nurture and value relationships.

Set your own personal standards. You may follow and wow any high profile personalities but do not idolize them. They are just person and sooner or later they will gonna fail you.

Smile – the best thing that you can wear. Savor every moment. Be yourself! Dare to be different! After all at the end of the day, it is never between you and any other person. It’s between you and God. It always has been.

Have fun! Don’t take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive. Go on adventure. Explore. Discover. Conquer.🙂

Live life so that years from now when you look back your ‘today’ you will no longer have all those ‘What ifs’.

Life is full of surprises, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Above all, always remember that Jesus loves you more than most.
